The importance of planning before acting
Many designers at some time or another have been tempted to start designing a new project without any prior planning. Whether novice sin, lazy or just do not believe that planning should be part of our creative process.
Planning should always be part of our creative process, not something "optional".
With preplanning I'm not suggesting many hours of careful planning and organization of all we do, it has to be practical and at no time should be the remedy worse than the disease, remember that we are interested in planning to save time and gain in quality.
In this pre-planning process is important that we answer such basic questions as:
- 1. What kind of website I create?
- 2. What kind of public visit the web?
- 3. What is the purpose / final goal of the web?
- 4. Comply design goals in mind? Is it usable and intuitive?
Answering these questions (sure añadiríais / quitaríais any) nosenfrentamos to problems despite being too obvious we save more than undolor head ... how many times have we discarded visually appealing designs which do not meet the basic objectives?
Basic design with well-defined objectives save us more of a "clean slate".
While projects "for fun" (for fun) can be understood not plan anything, but simply experience it and trasteemos on the fly ... I refuse to think that you may not need / devote average 30 or 60 minutes planning what we want to achieve and how.
Planning Tools for web designs
While not all existing market (anything not, but there's a lot), I wanted to highlight those that I found most interesting and I used sometime in test mode or in real projects.
As always, if you know any interesting tool that is not on this list, you know what are the comments .
