2015 was a continuation of 2014 trends as far as graphic design is concerned. Very flat designs implemented by the Flat Design. Absence of shadows and gradients, split and glitter, textures, etc.
Trends in graphic design are closely associated with technology. You only have to see that the arrival of the Smart Phones led to Responsive Design and this in turn, with the intention of consuming less data rate users, resulted in the Flat Design, a very minimalist style where the effects hyper- realists of 2012 and part of 2013 were conspicuous by their absence.
Considering all this, we are now at a point where cell phones have increasingly larger screens turn Internet connections are already 4G and rates much more generous and cheap data.
